It's been a while, but I'm back with another instalment of my "Best Of" mixtape series.

This time around, I've decided to revisit my 100% Nas mix that I put together for Radar Radio (oh yeah, I have a bi-weekly show on the station now!) the other week, updating it with some extra tracks and interview snippets from the man himself. Nas is one of my favourite Hip Hop artists of all time, so it was a real pleasure to dig through his discography and put together a definitive mix of his best singles, album tracks, guest verses, unreleased tracks and slept on gems. Drake sampling Paleface & Kyla's "Do You Mind" was also one of the inspirations for digging into my crates and putting this together. This mix contains over 30 tracks, some of which you may or may not know, and even though it's not technically Funky, I've also included "One Dance" in there...because everyone seems to want to hear Drake, no matter what type of event it is.

"The Best Of UK Garage" - Mixed By DJ Cable

It's been a long while, but after an extended hiatus I'm back posting on the blog again. There will be a whole new Website coming soon, but in the meantime, keep checking back here for more content.

Now, with that aside I thought I'd kick start the blog with another mix. I decided that since summer is now here, it's only right that the 2nd instalment in my "Best Of" mixtape series is all about UK Garage. Being from Essex, and growing up around the time UKG was blowing up, it was one of the things that got me into DJ-ing. It features over 30 of the best tracks (in my opinion), and covers most of the UKG spectrum.

It's taken a while to source decent content, and to get fully acquainted with MixEmergency, but I'm now in a position to put out regular video mixes for you guys.

This time around, I've gone in with 75 minutes' worth of Juicy J tunes for your eyes/ears. Some hood videos, some of his classic joints, plus some bizarre stuff including that hilarious Nardwuar interview.

Fused Forces - Remain Unlabeled (Mixed By DJ Cable)

After much anticipation, Fused Forces have finally released their CD Remain Unlabeled, which has been mixed by yours truly!

Comprising of 14 tracks in total, the album sports a serious selection of collaborations with artists such as Sean Price, Joker Starr, Central Spillz, M.I.K, Riko, S-Dot (to name a few), and showcases both their Hip Hop and Grime/Dubstep productions.

I'd had a lot of these tracks on Dub for a good couple of years, so when I was approached by Ad and Dan to help put the CD together I was more than happy to oblige.

The mix itself was actually completed nearly a year ago, whilst planning had started back in late 2011....We just spent a lot of time afterwards tweaking the track arrangement, replacing songs with better versions of the mixdown, and then getting the artwork sorted.

The tracks are now available to purchase digitally and indivivdually from Junodownload, Boomkat, iTunes, Amazon, Play, and all other good digital outlets, whilst the CD version (mixed by me) can be purchased....Seek and ye shall find!

Massive thanks to Fused Forces for letting me be a part of the project; I hope you all enjoy the mix/tracks. Go buy them if you're feeling them!

Here's my collaboration with South African clothing company 2Bop, who are arguably one of the dopest independent streetwear brands out there right now. Given that I have extended family out in SA, I thought it'd be great to link up with them.

Okay, so I've finally got round to sorting out a plan I've had for a while now; regular promo mixes recorded for your listening pleasure. My main goal with these mixes is to mash sh*t up as much as possible and hopefully create something a little different from a standard promo mix, the emphasis being very much on presenting music in an original way - if you just wanted to hear the original song, you'd just go listen to that, right?

I've tried to be pretty broad with Volume 1, so hopefully there'll be bits in there that will appeal to everyone and maybe by listening to it, you'll get turned onto some new music.
