R.I.P. Guru, who unexpectedly passed away yesterday. To many Hip Hop fans such as myself, he was undoubtedly one of the greatest of all time. Practically every single Gang Starr album is a certified classic ("Moment of Truth" and "Hard to Earn" in particular), as was his "Jazzmatazz" series.
Guru was such a nice guy. Back when I was a nobody, he still had the time to bless me with a drop for my mixtapes and radio shows...To me getting a drop from a legend like him was an honour; it's a damn shame he's now gone. He'll be sorely missed by the Hip Hop community.
P.S. Fuck Solar, that's all I'm saying...
