Mishka Presents - Keep Watch Vol. XXXIV: Starkey

Mishka keeps their Keep Watch series moving by enlisting the help of one of my favourite producers of the moment, Starkey. Having put out releases on respected labels such as Planet Mu, Ninja Tune, as well as his own imprints (Seclusiasis and Slit Jockey), he's also been pivotal in pushing the sounds of Grime music in the US, collaborating with the likes of Trim and P Money, to name a few.

His mix is nothing short of awesome, packed with new and forthcoming material that is guaranteed to wake you up, especially if you're listening to this on your morning commute to work.

I also gotta give Starkey a massive shout out for dropping my Harlem Shake edit in the mix. You can now grab that for free download via my Soundcloud :)

Nike SB Challenge Court

I haven't been on here in over a week, apologies....Time flies when you're busy. I'll post those DJ Nappy mixes shortly!

In the meantime, here's a picture of the new Nike SB Challenge Court, which is now available from Flatspot.

Whilst Nike SBs have been somewhat inconsistent over the past couple of years, it seems like their latest designs/colour schemes are improving.

Munchi x Trap-A-Holics x DJ Nappy - Trap Bubbling

Forgive me for posting this one slightly late....

If you're up on your Bass Music, you'll fully be aware of the rise of the electronic side of Trap Music over the past 12 months. Trap-A-Holics has been pushing all things Trap-orientated for a minute now, and his latest project with Munchi, mixed by my boy DJ Nappy has now found it's way onto my iPod for regular listening and screwfacing.

Nappy's been on a roll recently, as you'll see with the other two mixtapes I'll be posting over the next day or so.

XO Man - Quag (Music Video)

London's tallest rapper XO Man drops the visuals to his recent club hit. Trust me, this has been blowing up over the past few months!

Taken from his Unrap The Club EP, which you can now purchase from iTunes.

DJ Complexion - Thank You (Mixtape)

Following on from the Dixon Brothers' awesome mixtape, here's another one from League member Complexion, who's put this together in celebration of his Birthday this weekend.

Spanning a whole range of genres, this is highly recommended. Happy birthday homie!

"For my birthday I wanted to say thank you to everyone that has supported my DJ career and especially my mix-tapes. Without you I don't know where I'd be or what I'd be doing.

This is a very personal mix that includes some of my favorite songs. It's a collection of tunes that have a special place in my heart, and I'd like to share them with you.

For me, listening to music is a healing process, and the majority of these songs have helped me deal with issues in my life.

Whether it's losing a loved one, feeling disappointed, or being let down, music has always been there for me. It's comforted me, reassured me, uplifted me, given me clarity and reinvigorated me. I hope it can do the same for you.

So please, sit back, press play and enjoy.

And once again, thank you!"

Dixon Brothers Present: Sunday Vol. 2

Here's something fresh from my League of Extraordinary Gentlemen brethren, the Dixon Brothers.

Perfect for those chilled Sunday afternoon vibes, as the mixtape's title suggests... Get up on this.

Keep up to date with them on Twitter, and be sure to check out their weekly show on Kiss FM, every Thursday night from 1am - 2am, GMT.

STR.CRD X 2BOP @ Bread & Butter 2012

STR.CRD X 2BOP @ BREAD & BUTTER 2012 from STR.CRD on Vimeo.

My South African homies 2 Bop recently ventured over to Berlin for the annual Bread & Butter Expo, where they showcased both their current and forthcoming collections.

Despite it being their first year at the show, their brand was well-received, and in turn helped people open their eyes to South African culture and fashion.

Big up Brad, Hardy and Anthony each and every time.

18 Years of Rinse | 1994 : Geeneus

As Rinse FM gets closer to its 18th Birthday, they've decided to produce a series of interviews with some of the station's DJs (past and present), about their experiences and what the station means to them.

Kicking thing things off is station/label head Geeneus.

Dillon Francis - Masta Blasta (The Rebirth) (Music Video)

Dillon Francis' Moombahton anthem recently got a Trap rework. Here are the somewhat bizarre visuals for it.

Tony Hawk, Riley Hawk & the FLIP Team Skate Tony's Backyard Park

One of the things I wish I had the time (and patience) for as a kid was to learn how to skate. However, I was a don at playing the Tony Hawk videogames back in the days of the Playstation 1.

Anyhow, check out this dope video of Tony Hawk, along with his son, and a few others carving it up in his pool in California.

Kanye West Feat. Jay-Z & Big Sean

Here's the latest single to be taken from the Cruel Summer album, which is produced by Hit-Boy. However, I'm adamant that they should have put Pusha T on there instead of Big Sean.

On a side note, we might have to make this the official anthem for The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

G FrSH - Harlem Shake Freestyle (Video)

Disturbing London's G FrSH comes through with a sick freestyle over Baauer's summer anthem.

I was wondering how long it'd take before this got vocalled by someone within the Grime/UK Rap scene.

D-Styles - Serato Performance Video

D-Styles is undoubtably one of the best scratchers in the world, so it was only right that he teamed up with Serato for this musical routine. cutting up a sax sample over one of his own beats.

If you like this style of scratch music, then I highly suggest you check out his seminal debut album from 2002, Phantazmagorea, which is full of trippy/experimental soundscapes, whilst maintaining that element of musicality.

Azealia Banks - 1991 (Music Video)

Love the visuals on this. Big up Machinedrum on production also!

Nike Air Max 1 2012 Holiday Collection

I need the blue/orange Air Max 1's in my life.

Metal Gear Solid - Ground Zeroes (Preview)

The FOX Engine looks incredible in this sneak preview of the newest installment of the Metal Gear franchise.

Only a year to go until it's released...
