Air Jordan 1 “Yin Yang” Pack

Some of this year's Jordan releases have been pretty uninspiring so far. With the exception of the Gym Red & "The Master" 12s, and the Metallic Blue 1s, the past few months have been pretty dry. Saying that, some of the upcoming releases (Bred 1s, Metallic Black 5s, Space Jam 11s) are getting me excited.

Another release which has caught my attention has been the upcoming Yin Yang pack. Keeping it simple with a white on black & black on white colourway, these are not only clean as hell, but will also go with any outfit, definitely making them a staple part of my summer sneaker rotation. The shoes should be available 6th August at select Jordan stockists.

Would you cop? Let me know what you think.

Nike SB Dunk Elephant Print dropping soon

Nike SB have recently unveiled some of their upcoming colourways for the Dunk SB this summer, which range from the classic elephant print (which I'll definitely be copping), to a psychedelic print, the "picnic" colourway, plus more.  More images below.

Air Jordan VI & VII Retro “Golden Moments” Pack

If the Olympic VII's weren't enough, Jordan continues to churn out quality retros in the shape of the Golden Moments pack, which features both the Jordan VI and VII.

Available in a white/metallic gold and black/metallic gold colourway, the box features a gold Jumpman logo with “VI” and “VII” printed on either side.

They're scheduled to drop on the 18th August. I'm definitely copping these, if just to sit on for a couple of years.

Air Jordan Spizike University Blue/White

I missed out on copping a pair of Bordeaux Spizikes, but I definitely need to grab these for the summer.

They're scheduled to drop February 24, along with other sneakers that are part of the Nike Basketball 2012 All Star Games Collection.

Nike 2012 “Year of the Dragon” Boxset

Looks dope. Seeing as I'm too lazy to retype other blogs' posts today, here's the blurb....

Following the initial unveiling of its “Year of the Dragon” footwear collection, Nike introduces the latest 2012 boxset featuring both the anticipated Air Force 1 Low Supreme and a special edition Destroyer Jacket. The all-black Destroyer is given a premium treatment via supple black leather sleeves adjacent to an expected black wool body. Epaulettes are added to both shoulders of the jacket as well as a tonal dragon patch on the upper sleeve. Reflecting the Air Force 1′s patterned insoles, a colorful interior lining rounds out the thematic jacket. Packaged in an adorned box, the Year of the Dragon boxset will be available for $5,999 HKD (approx $772 USD) beginning January 16.

Nike Air Force 1 Grey/Cashmere

The Nike Air Force 1 is back for 2012, featuring an all-grey upper above a cream sole, and with hints of cashmere on the heel tab and swoosh.

While previous installments have seen the cashmere used throughout, this model looks like it'll be able to withstand the Winter/Spring elements.

Nike Air Mag 2011

Every sneaker head's dream has finally come true!

1500 pairs of the Nike Mag will be auctioned on eBay with all net proceeds going directly to Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Each day for the duration of the ten-day auction, one hundred and fifty pairs of the Nike Mag will be made available via eBay’s Fashion Vault. The auction starts September 8, 2011 a, 8:30PM PST, and will end September 18. Thanks to a previous 50 million dollar match given to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, all donations will be matched, effectively doubling the contributions from the auction.

The original Nike was worn by Marty McFly in Back The Future Part II. It came alive, lit up and formed to Marty’s foot. The shoe was designed to be a precise replica of the original from the movie. The aesthetic is an exact match, down to the contours of the upper, the glowing LED panel and the electroluminescent NIKE in the strap. The show illuminates with the pinch of the “ear” of the high top, glowing for five hours per charge.

I know these are going to reach some crazy prices, but it's all for a good cause.

Nike Dunk Lo Vintage

Having focused on other models over the past year, Nike is back once again revisiting their iconic basketball shoe, the Dunk this season. Taking the "vintage" look, which has been a recent feature on the Blazer, Nike has applied this to a a series of simple colourways that are reminiscent of the co.jp releases from a few years ago.

Nike Air Force 1 Destroyer Black Pack

Here's some pics of the Nike Air Force 1 Destroyer Black Pack, which was released today at the Nike Sportswear store on Mercer St in NYC.

Nike has added new elements to the Destroyer jacket by taking the classic Letterman jacket and adding cashmere and leather accents to it. The Air Force 1 is designed by NikeiD Bespoke, using premium leathers and materials too. If only I lived in NYC...

Nike Air Mag "Marty McFly" Auction

One of these actually made its way onto eBay a couple of years ago, alongside the "Mattel Hover Board". However, for those who ever dreamed of owning the actual pair that Michael J. Fox wore in the 1989 classic Back To The Future Part 2, now's your chance..

Whilst there is some cracking on the midsole, along with some other small signs of wear and tear, the estimated value of the sneakers is supposed to reach staggering $12000 – $15000, potentially making them the rarest sneakers of all time!

To be in with a chance of owning a pair of movie (and sneaker) history, head over to Profiles in History for more info, and details on how to place your bid.

Good luck!

Nike Athletic West Air Maxim & Air Max 1

Nike releases a set of fresh Air Maxims and Air Max 1's as part of it's Athletic West collection. Both shoes feature a navy outer and upper, with a contrasting red swoosh, whilst the Air Max 1's feature a beige sole and beige laces.

These are definitely on the "summer sneaker shopping list" (check out my alliteration skills).

Nike 2010 Spring Air Max 1 Preview

Latest Air Max 1 offerings from Nike, which are set to drop later this Spring. Continuing with the suede and mesh design, we're blessed with a set of fresh colourways, one of which looks fairly similar to the Uwara Reds Air Max 1 from 2004. I was a proud owner of a pair, until I made the mistake of wearing them to a nightclub.

Remember folks: Drink spillage x dirty dancefloor = ruined.
