Mattel Hover Board on eBay

With all the media hype surrounding Nike Hyperdunk 2015 (I NEED these in my life!), a number of movie props from cult 80's movie "Back To The Future Part II" have made their way onto eBay.

First up, a fully working prop of the Nike Mag - the fictional sneaker worn by Marty McFly, which inspired the Hypderdunk 2015 colourway and has also been subject to many fans demanding a full release. The shoe sold for $5,300 USD.

The more collectable prop, however is the Mattel Hover Board. Unlike other props made of styrofoam which haven't held up well due to the fragile material and thrashing they got on set, this Hover Board is made of wood and metal, complete with a texturized paint job.

For a starting bid of $30,000 USD, you'd be expecting that board to actually hover....

I might actually spend the whole of tomorrow watching the entire trilogy.
