Having focused on other models over the past year, Nike is back once again revisiting their iconic basketball shoe, the Dunk this season. Taking the "vintage" look, which has been a recent feature on the Blazer, Nike has applied this to a a series of simple colourways that are reminiscent of the co.jp releases from a few years ago.
The collection will drop this Saturday (29th) in Japan at select retailers.

In the run up to their forthcoming debut single "Play The Music Louder" which is out in Feb, The Murkage Cartel have released a bunch of heavy riddims and refixes for free download. If you haven't yet been to their "Murkage" club night, which is every Thursday in at South in Manchester, you're missing out. It's easily one of the best parties I've played at over the past couple of years...
To coincide with his new release on Deep Medi, Darkside sits down with Dubstep producer Tunnidge to discuss how he got involved within the scene, future releases, his forthcoming art exhibition and lots more.
If you're unaware of who Tunnidge is, I highly recommend that you go check out his back catalogue; especially if you're a fan of weighty, sub heaver rollers.
BONUS! We Are Dubist, Fused Forces & Darkside on Get Darker TV:
Professor Green enlists the lyrical expertise of K-Lash-nek-off, Malik, and man of the moment Wretch 32 for a remix of "Jungle". The original version featured on my August 2010 Podcast, if you fancy checking that out.
When I first saw this, I was majorly impressed... I've never been snowboarding, but have the utmost respect for people who can pull off moves such as the one in the video above (crazy, right?)...until I noticed it was fake...
When I first heard of this collaboration between Magnetic Man and John Legend, I was a little bit skeptical. Vocal tunes in Dubstep can be pretty hit and miss, and can end up sounding quite cheesy, but John Legend does this track justice. It's definitely one of those tunes to vibe to at home, or even use to close off DJ set.
Even though some of their garments can still be a quite over the top in terms of design and colour scheme, BAPE always come correct with these quirky lifestyle items and household accessories.
Part of the Spring/Summer Collection for 2011, and now available at all Japanese BAPE stores, this Baby Milo coin bank stands 20cm high and is large enough to take a variety of coins. Whilst there is no doubt that it'll be expensive, it certainly makes a stylish replacement for your traditional piggy bank.
Featuring DJ Green Lantern, J. Cole, Yelawolf, Big Sean, Donnis & Laws...
I'll admit, I hadn't heard of this series before, but from what I've seen from watching past episodes on Nah Right, this is a pretty good series!
In this episode, DJ Green Lantern uses the promise of a hot meal to trick J Cole, Yela Wolf, Big Sean, Donnis and Laws into listening to beats… Apparently he's managed to secure something, so we'll have to wait and see. I'm hoping for a Yelawolf x J Cole x Green Lantern collaboration. That would be ill...
"Boot Sequence" is the label's own free mix series, which sees guest DJs from all corners of the Dubstep world showcasing Reboot exclusives as well as the tunes which they think are setting the scene alight at the moment.
To kick things off, I went in with a selection of tunes that are currently available on the label, along with some forthcoming tunes & some unreleased heat from Project Midnight; a nice mixture of jump up, minimal, 2-step, and chilled Dubstep.
Two years after re-releasing the Air Pegasus '89, Nike have finally decided to resurrect the Air Pegasus '92.
Sporting it's OG colourway of White/Orange/Purple with nubuck and mesh uppers, this will be a hit with fans of Nike runners These are now available to pre-order from End Clothing for the reasonable price of £69.
So it's been confirmed that Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf (who was already signed to Interscope) have all signed to Shady Records. This is a massive look for everyone, and based on how dope "Session One" was, I can't wait to hear what Eminem & Yelawolf will be cooking up...
This is an absolute monster of a tune, which has been tearing down raves for the past few months. Backed with "Powertool" on the B-side, this is one solid release which I'm sure will stay in lots of DJ's record bags (read: CD wallets and laptops) for a long time. I'm really looking forward to hearing his forthcoming album!
Here's the latest addition to Hot Toys' Movie Masterpiece Series - the 1/6th scale Limited Edition Iron Man 2 Mark V Collectible Figure, which, if you remember from the film, was the portable suit that Tony Stark used in his first encounter against Whiplash.
The film character-accurate build sports LED-lighted eyes and arms, interchangeable hands, left arm and chest armor. It also comes with a suitcase and a LED light-up figure stand with a nameplate and the movie logo.
It's a shame Christmas has already been and gone, otherwise this would have been one of the top things on my list...
I'm a few days late posting this, but don't watch that...
Having been mostly responsible for the recent resurgence in instrumental Grime, Elijah & Skilliam aka Butterz are always pushing new talent, as well as making some awesome mixes. Following on from last year's "01012010" mix, they've gone in with a load of new tunes from up-and-coming producers who you will hear a lot more of in 2011, such as Darq E Freaker and Mr. Mitch...
Fresh for 2011, Curren$y ventures back into the mixtape game with the release of "Return To The Winner’s Circle", the follow up to 2008's "Welcome To The Winner’s Circle". This dude had one of the best Hip Hop albums of 2010 in my opinion, and this mixtape doesn't fail to disappoint. Cop it now.
I know I'm a bit late posting this, but here's some more free music that was liberated during the Christmas period from Fused Forces.
With a number of tunes on recent Get Darker and Ministry of Sound compilations, and an album in the pipeline, 2011 looks to be a very good year from the Romford-based duo. My choice cuts are "Molten Rock" and "Sabotage".
The first quote of 2011: "Peace, love and pum pum..."
It's mad to think that after all those years of tearing down clubs, and putting out certified anthems such as "Heartless Theme", they'll be going their separate ways... All the best to Bushkin, Fonti & Mighty Moe.
