ItsNate - NeverAskTakeEverything Artwork & Tracklist

I first got introduced to ItsNate last year at one of Motive's Overproof raves. I had no idea he could spit until I saw him pop up in the Trapstar x SB:TV cypher.

Since then, he's released a bunch of other dope freestyles, namely I'm On One and the Betty freestyle with Ash Catch'em.

Anyhow, 2011 has proved to be a been a busy year, having recently worked with Wiley's producer Jay Weathers (Wiley "Seduction", Wiley "If I Could") and has a track on his EP Chill Out Zone Too which features Wiley, English Frank, Margs and more. He's already got a string of live performances to his credit, including Loves Writers Block, YoYo's, G Shock East, Turn Off The Radio and Jazz Cafe. You can catch ItsNate's next performance at Milly's World on the 21st of September.

Slondon by ItsNate

Fresh off supporting American breakthrough act Mac Miller in Birmingham last week, Nate has released “Slondon,” the intro to his debut mixtape NeverAskTakeEverything due for release 30/09/11, alongside the artwork and tracklisting.

I'm also pleased to announce that I've got a beat on his forthcoming mixtape, so you can imagine I'm pretty excited about this release too. Watch out for this guy.

D Double E "Street Fighter Riddim" Artwork

One of the best Grime tracks of 2010 finally sees a release on 26th July.

For the official release, D Double E has added an extra verse, and has done most of the Street Fighter noises/ad-libs himself (copyright issues, I assume). Big up to DJ Swerve for creating one of the hottest beats this year.

If you haven't yet heard the tune, you can check it out on April's Podcast here

Method Man, Ghostface Killah & Raekwon "Wu-Massacre" Cover Art

One of the best album covers I've seen in a long while. This project is going to be epic.

Illustration by comic-book legend Chris Bachalo, with Art Direction and Graphic Design by Alex Haldi.

Rocksmith have also designed a nice limited edition "Wu-Massacre" t-shirt, which you check out here (via Nah Right).

Freeway & Jake One "The Stimulus Package" Packaging

Even though we're in a digital age, I still like to support an artist by purchasing his or her CD. For Freeway & Jake One's forthcoming album, Rhymesayers have gone all out for CD's packaging.

Designed by Brent Rollins, the package features a CD cover in the design of a wallet, containing 4 Freeway Bills & 4 Jake One Bills, which contain lyrics and liner notes on the backsides. The package also contains a credit card which enables you to download the Instrumentals. Seeing as fewer people are buying CDs these days, it's a great way to encourage fans to buy hard copies of the album.

US customers can pre-order the album here where they will be entered into a draw to win one of five $100 cash prizes, and also pick up some free goodies.
