"Springfield Punx" Simpsons by Dean Fraser

"The Simpsons" is literally the greatest cartoon of all time. It's constant satire of current events and popular culture is cleverly done, and is one of the reasons why I've been watching it since it first came on Sky over here in the UK. To be featured in/on The Simpsons (aka to be simpsonized) is probably the greatest thing that anyone could wish for in my books. Probably more amazing than having your own Hollyood pavement star. The amount of actors, musicians and politicians who have featured easily rolls into the hundreds.

Artist Dean Fraser takes it one step further to apply The Simpsons theme over many notable pop-icons from the comic book world as well as the real-world entertainment personalities. Throughout October, he’s been releasing a steady stream of one Marvel character per day which can be seen at Springfield Punx. Other artwork includes Back To The Future, He-Man, the Dark Knight characters, as well as characters from the 60's Batman Show!
