T.I.'s new mixtape is packed full of heat. Apparently these are all album leftovers that he wanted put out before they sounded too daed. You can check the interview with MTV here for the full story.
Hopefully there will be a NODJ version dropping soon as well...

Mz Bratt "Selecta" (Prod. Redlight)
This premiered on Mistajam's show on BBC 1Xtra last night. Not much to ay except this is FIRE!
Redlight (aka Clipz) has taken the scene by storm with his bassline-driven tropical riddims, and has yet again cooked up another banger. I wasn't really the biggest fan of Bratt's last single "Who Do You Think You Are", but this is heavy. I've got a feeling this is going to do very well. Guaranteed club banger.

Copywrite "Last Laugh"
Here's a track from Copywrite's "T.H.E High Exhaulted - 8th Anniversary Edition", which is due out next month. Why he's celebrating the 8th anniversary I have no idea (answers on a postcard, please), but I have to say this tune is pretty dope... This is definitely a step up from that wack Asher Roth diss from last year.
"The High Exhaulted" was a pretty good album (personal highlights were "Ready...Aim" and "Fuck Soundcheck"), so it'll be interesting to see what new material makes the special edition. Hopefully he's now back on top of his game.

Stussy x EPMD T-Shirt
This Tuesday, Stussy will be presenting EPMD live in Vancouver for a 2nd time. They'll also have a limited amount of the highly sought after EMPD tee to re-release in-store on to coincide with the event.
Speaking of EPMD and streetwear, who remembers the "Kickly Business" tee that Mike (now-defunct) put out a few years back?

Just stumbled upon this dope video mix from DJ 33 1/3, who pays tribute to Guru. In his words:
I did this a couple of weeks ago and was just going to sit on it…but It’s now been a full month since Guru passed and I still have a hard time believing he’s not here. I am a big fan of Guru/ Gangstarr, so this is how I paid my respects. The mix is just under 50 minutes long, enjoy.

A-Trak "Dirty South Dance 2" (Mixtape)
After much anticipation, A-Trak is back with the second installment of his "Dirty South Dance" series. For those not in the know, it's essentially Dirty South acapellas over Electro/Club music - done very well, may I add! Standout tracks include "Loonies To Blow", "Make The Trap Wile Out" and "Ice Cream On Blast". Nice to see Trizzy also rocking acapellas over Dubstep too!
For the die-hard collectors, he's also teaming up with Obey again to make a deluxe pack that includes a poster, T-shirt and physical CD, which should drop in about three weeks. Until then, you can download the mix for free by using the Bandcamp widget below.
Tracklisting:
01. Intro
02. Trizzy Turnt Up
03. How Low Can U Bake
04. We Don’t Want No Goblins
05. She Got a Dum Donk
06. Whatever You Shoot

09. Twerk That Driver

14. Donnis - Gone (DJ Craze remix)

Professor Green Feat. Lily Allen "Just Be Good To Green" (Video Teaser)
Not too sure about this one. Following the success of "I Need You Tonight", it looks like Green has used the same formula of recycling/re-interpreting a classic tune, with the the help of Lily Allen.
It works, and it's pretty catchy, but I can't help but think that they're relying on the same formula. Then again, it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?
Don't get it twisted...I got a lot of respect for Green, I'm just not really feeling this particular song.

Chali 2na "Gadget Go Go"
Some of you will know the barritone-voiced Chali 2na from legendary Hip Hop outfit Jurassic 5, as well as the band Ozomatli. This is the first leak from his new album (due out later this year on Deacon), and I was pretty surprised to find out that this has been produced by the one and only Rusko
DOWNLOAD
The production is pretty much standard Dubstep club fodder as you'd expect from Rusko, however Chali rides the beat well, switching up his flow to match the LFO rate... Overall, worth checking out.

Here's the video for the first single off Curren$y’s "Pilot Talk", which will be available on June 15th via DD172 x Roc-A-Fella x Def Jam. "King Kong" is now available to purchase from the iTunes Store (US only though).
This is standardly going on May's podcast! Oh, and kudos for bumping Black Star's "Respiration" at the start of the video. I miss that era in Hip Hop...

Available to purchase from 7th June.
Also, next Friday (21st May) sees Dub Police take over London's mighty Fabric nightclub for an evening of big basslines and filthy beats. Lineup looks sick, and seeing as I've got the night off, I might have to pop down to this.

I posted up a pic of these back in March, along with some of the other Spring/Summer Jordan releases.
Spotted over at Hypebeast, we get a closer look at one of the hottest shoes this season. It's all about the white/infared midsole and hints of blue. Lovely touch.

DJ Q-Bert - Traktor Vs. Serato (Video)
Very informative...One of the main issues I have with Scratch Live is the feedback/skipping if you're in a club where the turntables vibrate due to a loud system. It's true though, Traktor doens't have that problem!
Expect a Traktor Scratch Pro demo from myself soon...
