DJ Cable - May 2010 Podcast

I know it's a week late, but here's my monthly roundup for May 2010.

Once again, massive thanks to everyone who's been downloading the podcasts. I've decided to switch things up by not having a vocal introduction anymore...Now you can comfortably rock this on your iPod without having to hear my monotone voice, haha!

So...This month's mix has more of a Hip Hop/Electronica selection, although there is a nice slice of Dubstep & Grime towards the end, packed with new tunes from House Shoes, Busta Rhymes, Sean Price, T.I., Rusko, Noisia, Guilty Simpson, Rude Kid and Mark Instinct...plus some exclusive heat from Mz. Bratt, Dream McLean, Macca and I.D.

T.I. "Fuck A Mixtape"

T.I.'s new mixtape is packed full of heat. Apparently these are all album leftovers that he wanted put out before they sounded too daed. You can check the interview with MTV here for the full story.

Hopefully there will be a NODJ version dropping soon as well...

T.I. "I'm Back" (Music Video)

Been playing this out for a minute...May have to put it on April's Podcast...

T.I. Feat. Justin Timberlake "Dead & Gone" (Music Video)

One of hottest joints off "Paper Trail"

"Swagga Like Us" @ The Grammys (Video)

Probably the hottest joint from last year...Glad to see this picked up an award.

Kanye West Performs "Heartless" in L.A. (Video)

Kanye, along with Consequence, Don C & Plain Pat, made an appearance at a MySpace concert for T.I. to perform his verse from “Swagger Like Us”, “Love Lockdown”, and then performs his next single "Heartless".

T.I. then also thanks Kanye for putting S.L.U. together, and for not keeping it to himself.

According to what I've read on Nah Right, Kanye has officially completed & handed in his album. "808’s & Heartbreak" is slated to drop on November 25th.

P.S. "S.L.U." or "A Milli" are officially the hottest joints of '08 in my books. I'm still yet to decide which one takes the title. Your thoughts?

T.I. & Jay-Z Perform "Swagger Like Us" (Video)

Looks insane, especially when Hov' comes on. Shame the sound quality's gash....

T.I. "Rap City Freestyle" (Video)

T.I. sends some shots towards Shawty Lo....

T.I. Feat. Kanye West, Jay-Z & Lil' Wayne "S.L.U. (Swagger Like Us)"

Oh my days, this is one ridiculous line-up!

Seriously sick collabo...loving the M.I.A. sample too....Don't even try to sleep on this joint!

Props to Khal for the heads up....

T.I. "Kick It In The Hotel" (Prod. The Neptunes)

New track from Clifford's forthcoming album, "Paper Trail" - Produced by The Neptunes.

Not the best quality MP3, but definitely worth a listen - Nice beat, accompanied by Pharrell's obligatory mouth noises....Will do pretty well in the clubs.

Ludacris Feat. T.I. "Wish You Would"

Oh my days, this track is sick!

Two of ATL's finest go in hard over this banger.
