Style Of Eye feat Gina Turner - Ray Dee Oh

House Music heads will enjoy the latest release (particularly the AM mix) from Fools Gold Recs, which consists of three new dancefloor orientated tracks from Style Of Eye, featuring the chopped up vocals of Gina Turner (no relation to Tina).

For me, the standout tune on the EP is Norway, featuring Bessem, which is a great slice of chillout/end of the night vibes. Perfect to stick on your iPod whilst you're out and about in the sun too.

You can now purchase the release from Beatport.

Bloom - Quartz (Gobstopper Records 005)

Mr. Mitch has been going from strength to strength this past year. When he's not busy dropping tunes, cooking up sick remixes for the likes of Slit Jockey Records, you can find him putting out consistently solid releases through his Gobstopper Records imprint.

The label's latest release (which is due due out August 3rd), comes courtesy of Belfast's Bloom, who delivers a heavy bass-driven riddim in the form of Quartz. It's definitely got that Eski-type vibe about it, and whilst it sounds like it could have easily come out around the same era as Macabre Unit's Sense, or DJ Marsta's Gridlock, it still fits in nicely with the current sound of Grime/UK Bass music.

Peep the Soundcloud player below for a preview of the full release, which includes excellent remixes from both Starkey and Slackk.

SRC - The Tangerine EP (Triangulum 004)

Once again, apologies for the lack of posts on here recently. I've currently been running around Europe DJ-ing for this cat called Willy Moon. He makes some pretty good music.

Anyhow, I wanted to bring to your attention the latest release on Triangulum, which will be dropping next week!

Consisting of 4 dancefloor-orientated instrumentals, The Tangerine EP comes courtesy of Birmingham's SRC, who has made a name for himself within the Grime scene with his quirky and melodic, video game-inspired productions.

Having already released music on labels such as Butterz, No Hats No Hoods, and the legendary Numbers imprint, it's safe to say he's certified.

Peep the snippets below for a taster, and make sure you follow SRC on Twitter

The EP will be available from the usual spots (Juno, Beatport, Boomkat, iTunes etc) on Friday 29th June. thanks to everyone who has supported the label so far. More music to come soon!

Bonus! Big Narstie has also vocalled one of the tunes. Download it below!

Family Tree 002: Stay True / Gold Card Soul

Fresh off the back of their 001 release, which saw support from the likes of Rod Azlan and Mistajam, Family Tree’s second release features newcomer Ed Cheeno and Dubstep duo The Squadron, which will be available this Friday (29th July) from all good digital outlets.

Consisting of a warping bassline and vocal samples, Stay True is a sweet little roller, which will no doubt sound epic on a loud system.
