Last but not least, legendary UK Garage and House producer Zed Bias has recently liberated a load of lost tracks after stumbling across the DAT tapes.

Zed Bias - 'LOST DATS ARCHIVE' volume 1 (Xmas Giveaway) by zedbias

In his words:

To celebrate a great year I've decided to share a selection of 20 Zed Bias and Phuturistix remixes, rare bootlegs and instrumentals from between 1998 and 2000. About 6 years ago I had lost a box of DAT tapes and randomly found them again this year... these DATs contain all my early recordings and here I've selected some cuts that are unavailable digitally anywhere and I've had them remastered so they are ready for bangin, in the car, in the club or on your ipod.... Enjoy!

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Yasmin "Santa Loves R&B" Mix

Unfortunately, I don't have the time this year to put together a random Christmas DJ tool (remember these two?) or a mix, but luckily Yasmin has come through with this great mix of R&B, with a couple of Xmas-themed tunes at the start.

Props for including the Santa Baby edit!

Merry Christmas

Happy Christmas to all the blog readers! Eat, drink, and be merry.

BONUS! Turn this one up loud...

Eartha Kitt x DJ Cable "Santa Baby (Bishy Bashy Re-edit)

'Tis the season to make another silly mashup/re-edit...

If you remember last year, I posted up a quick Bmore edit of Brenda Lee's "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree", which, even though wasn't the best of mixdowns, seemed to go down well with the internets.

After being dared by a few people to come up with another refix, I decided to step up to the challenge and put Eartha Kitt's Christmas classic over the Unfinished Business Riddim. Sounds ridiculous, right? Well, it kinda worked out okay! Maybe you can incite some season daggering action if you drop this mid set...

Oh, and if you're looking for something quirky for your iPod/iPhone over the next few days, here's my Christmas mix from last year's Weekly Mix series:
