Clipse x LA Leakers "Got It For Leaks" (Mixtape)

For those not in the know, the LA Leakers do a series of "audio boigraphy" mixtapes with certain artists, which is basically a look behind the scenes of what went on making certain records. With this project, they sat down with the Clipse and they gave the history on some of their biggest records.

It would have dope to have seen tracks such as The Funeral or Chinese New Year on there, but kudos for including Footsteps in the final tracklisting... That tune was slept on, in my opinion...

Inspired by hearing last week's interview with Westwood & Baby/Birdman (and after seeing this video up on Dun Know Da Blogspot), I thought I'd throw this up in a Classic Tracks post.

Whilst Baby's verse isn't the greatest, this still remains one of the best Clipse joints of all time, even though it's guest feature... Seriously, Pusha killed it on this one:

Supposedly taken from the forthcoming album, "Till The Casket Drops", Clipse are back with this banger, produced by DJ Khalil. Not much to comment on, except this is big! From the production (that guitar lick is heavy), down to the lyrics, it's all straight fire.

Malice & Pusha are both on point, whilst a College Dropout-sounding Kanye also goes in hard. Braggadocio rap at its finest:

"I'm like the black Marshall meets Jay[-Z]"

This definitely makes up for the erm...not so good Re-Up Gang album from last year.
